The team of Building and Pest Inspectors has conducted two major Building and Pest inspections for me in the last few months.
The first request I made to the team was for an urgent Building and Pest inspection, as a property I was considering buying was about to go to auction.
Building and Pest Inspectors were able to complete the inspection the very next day. After their inspection, they met me on site, and then fully explained all the strengths and weaknesses of the home – in easy-to-understand terms. They then followed-up with an extensive written report which I received later that day.
I have received other inspection reports in the past and can honestly say that Building and Pest Inspections Brisbane Inspectors’ report was the most thorough and detailed I have ever seen.
I then went to the auction of that property, fully informed about all the pluses and minuses of that home. I didn’t end up buying that property (due to the price) but felt that I had done my homework, largely thanks to Building and Pest Inspections Brisbane.
Just a few months later, I found another lovely house, and again contacted Building and Pest Inspections Brisbane about an urgent inspection request. Within three days (one being a public holiday), the team were able to conduct a thorough inspection, explain one main flaw and set out a course of remedial action. They liaised with me and the selling agent several times over the next few days (at no extra cost), and I ended up buying that home.

In my experience, I found B to be efficient, thorough and detailed. The report that they produced was of the highest quality with photographs where necessary to explain issues. The team also spent time with me to explain any problems and encouraged me to contact them with any queries. They also made themselves available to speak directly to the seller of the property to explain any questions they had with the report and items that needed to be rectified prior to purchase. This was so incredibly valuable to me as I’m not a builder and don’t have any expertise in this area. As a first home buyer the whole process is pretty overwhelming however thanks to the team of B at least organising the building and pest inspection was made easy. From the first phone call where the office girl went out of her way to help coordinate a time that worked for both me and the real estate agent the service was outstanding. The team was punctual, well-presented, and obviously experts in both building and pest inspection.
They were happy to answer all my questions and were willing to provide extra information such as which walls were structural and the type and condition of the insulation batts in the roof space. They discussed their finding with me on site and showed me the key elements which needed addressing.
The real estate agent was so impressed she requested his contact details so she could use them as her recommended building and pest inspector.
Within 4 hours of the inspection the team had provided a comprehensive written report including excellent quality colour photographs. We were extremely happy with our latest building report from Building and Pest Inspections Brisbane and the team! They went over everything with us and helped us to understand everything as we are new to Australia. We actually backed out of the first house we looked at because of the thorough building report. In the process of selling 2 houses and buying 3 over the last 5 years, I have commissioned 9 different building inspections.
I employed Building and Pest Inspections Brisbane to do the last inspection, and was most impressed by their thoroughness. As the team’s inspection progressed, I became concerned with this thoroughness- the house they were inspecting is the one I am selling!
Despite making improvements, and having kept up with repairs and maintenance, I suddenly wondered if they would discover things even I didn’t know about.
This turned out to be the case, although luckily only for two small plumbing issues that were easily fixed. I’m hoping to have reached the end of my days of buying and selling, but would definitely use B from now on.
