Property Developers in Brisbane have identified the inner city CBD as a great place to live & work.

They have led the charge in Unit building in the Brisbane CBD & Inner City surrounding suburbs.

This has resulted in the residential population of the CBD doubling from 5000 to 10,000 within a ten year period.

In creating Festival, Charlotte Towers & several other complexes they were bucking the contemporary trend of developing within the urban renewal precincts of New Farm, Teneriffe & Newstead.

Developers also identified areas in Fortitude Valley, Bowen Hills & Kelvin Grove for unit sites in the inner city suburbs as Units in these areas are under- supplied.

Noel Milne from BPI Building & Pest Inspections, Brisbane Central also recognises that the Brisbane market is picking up & quality Units in the Brisbane inner city area are still a rare commodity.

Madison Heights in Bowen Hills recently settled 91% of its new Unit development.

Several other major Unit developments such as Fortitude valley’s Central village & The Plaza at South Brisbane are under construction & others are awaiting development approval.
